For once, I had a lazy weekend at home (that so rarely happens!), and decided to putter with the 3D printers again. One of our Phys Ed teachers has a student teacher and was bemoaning the fact that the fellow did not have a whistle. Never fear, 3D printing to the rescue! After a search on Thingiverse, I found a great whistle model, and printed out one for each PE teacher as well as the student teacher. Those things are annoyingly loud!
Over the weekend, I also received the STL file of the full body scan Dan and I had done at MakerFaire. I was VERY excited, and promptly set it to printing. It took about 7 hours, but was totally worth it. I now have a lovely statue of the two of us gracing my desk at work.
