Here in the lab we use a variety of different software toteach the kids. Below is a listing of some of the main titles we use, and links to where you can puchase them if you are interested.
Key Skills – The Key Skills Learning System is an affordable line of Language Arts and Mathematics products known for appealing standards-based core curriculum exercises, differentiated instruction, and an easy-to-use teacher management process. | |
Type To Learn Junior – A keyboarding program for grades K-2 that introduces them to the concept of using both hands to type, and teaches the location of the letters and symbols on the keyboard. | |
Type To Learn 3 – A keyboarding program for grades 3-6. This program builds on the concepts introduced in Type to Learn Junior, and introduces students to proper keyboarding using the Home Row. | |
Kidspiration – Created for K-5 learners, Kidspiration® provides an easy way to apply the proven principles of visual learning. Students build graphic organizers by combining pictures, text and spoken words to represent thoughts and information. | |
KidPix 3 – KidPix is a graphics program that lets kids draw and paint on the computer. It has tons of great features such as animations and sounds, and is a fun multimedia program. | |
KidWorks Deluxe – This is the drawing and writing software we use with our younger students. Easy to use drawing tools, a simple set of writing tools, and a lot of fun stickers make this an exciting program. | |
A to Zap – This is a fun program for our early learners. A to Zap has an activity for every letter of the alphabet! |
